Orencio Carvajal was born in Spain in 1995.  He began training in theater at a young age at an award winning youth theater where his passion for directing began.

Carvajal graduated first in his class from ECAM, the Madrid Film School.  There he directed his debut feature, «Ladrones De Cuerpos», which premiered at an Academy Awards qualifying festival (45th Huesca Film Festival) and traveled to festivals around the world.  

Upon graduation he directed his first full length documentary,  «La Atencion» which premiered at the Malaga Film Festial in 2019. It is now streaming at Filmin.

Orencio has worked in the film industry on such feature films as Tim Miller’s «Terminator. Dark Fate”, Asghar Farhadi’s “Everybody Knows”, Patty Jenkin’s “Wonder Woman 1984» and shows such as Netflix’s “Warrior Nun”, AMC’s “Soulmates”, HBO’s “Westworld”, Netflix’s “In From The Cold”, Amazon’s “A Private Affair”…

He has observed from the inside how a major production is crafted.  He has used those skills and his training with actors to direct music videos and short films as well as his features.

He brings that experience, training and eye for detail to new projects across categories–narrative, commercial, documentary, music video.
